School's out, the kids are restless, it's Dollywood's Silver Anniversary year, and it's time for a fun family vacation, so what could be better than KidsFest in the heart of the Smokies. This year Dollywood's KidsFest begins on June 11th and continues until August 1, 2010. This year is packed with everything fun for the kids and the adults will enjoy just being on park and watching the thrill on their children's faces as they go from one fun thing to the next.
This year Dollywood has added the new "Adventure Theater" with different entertainment featured each week beginning with the first act of "Bam", a comedy show with driving drumbeats. As the festival continues, there will be a juggler whose comedy is enhanced with an electric carving knife, and it's plugged in, as well as a burning propane tank, interactive performances such as "Mad Science Productions" presenting "Star Trek Live", "The Gazillion Bubble Show", a magician, a ventriloquist, and "The Passing Zone" touted as Guinness world juggling winners, not one but five times, with their act including participating members of the audience...literally.
At the Imagination Playhouse this year there is a 4D trip, or journey, to the "Center of the Earth", as well as three musicals playing throughout KidsFest and each musical is premised upon popular children's books.One thing is for certain, this year is full of fun and exciting events to delight every member of your family.
