Zip or Zorb?

When traveling to the Smokies, it has to be hard to decide what to do first with all of the museums, tourist attractions, dinner theaters and all of the outdoor activities in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg,

Ziplines and the Zorb just add more choices for the kids and adventuresome adults.

The Ziplines not only offer a thrill but amazing views as you're zipping over and through the Smoky Mountains.  Now the next choice you're going to have to make is which new adventure do you want to try, Zip or Zorb?

Foxfire Mountain offers Canopy Tour Ziplines with state-of-the-art equipment, trained and certified professional guides for a safe adventure of a lifetime in your choice of seven different Ziplines.  This historical wilderness park is tucked away in the Smoky Mountains foothills and offers hiking trails through the lush forest vegetation replete with waterfalls, take an educational nature hiking tour, go "Llama Trekking" with these adorable creatures to carry your supplies, learn to ride a segway and hit their specially designed trails, grab a barbeque lunch, or spend the night in the primitive campground, or in the luxury tent campground so you can enjoy and experience all of the adventure at Foxfire because there is too much to take in, in a day's time.

Even Dollywood has gotten in on the Zipline adventure being the first theme park to offer multiple Ziplines in the United States.  The SkyZip has five ziplines to soar through the mountain sky, fly over a cable bridge and brush the tree tops.  SkyZip is powered by "Skyline's patent-pending systems" with their own integration of the most up-to-date technology and state-of-the-art safety equipment.

ZorbFor a totally new adventure, you might want to try the Zorb.  The Zorb originated in New Zealand, and is now in operation in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, which has the distinction of being the only official site for the Zorb in the United States.

The Zorb is a twelve-foot inflated "globe" you jump in and then roll down a hill.  Now you have a choice of rolling down the hill with just air in the ball, or try the "Zydro Ride" with the globe loaded up with a few gallons of water so you can slip and slide as your sphere spins down the hill...or, try the "Astronaut in Training Ride", the "Zorbit" where you're strapped into a harness and then pitch, roll and yaw down the hill.  The Zorb is located on Sugar Hollow Road off the Parkway in the middle of Pigeon Forge.

The choice is up to you, are you going to Zip or Zorb?  Or, both?
